SUBMISSION PREPARATION CHECKLIST

As part of the submission process, authors must check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The author is willing to follow the entire editing process until the manuscript is declared as accepted or rejected for publication. If you wish to discontinue the process, the author should notify the editor with an email for article withdrawal.
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word 97-2003 (*.doc) or higher document file format (maximum 15 pages length, attachment included). This will be used as the main submission file. Additional files are uploaded as supplementary.
  • All pages are portrait (landscape pages should be rotated).
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided. DOI for the references must be given if applicable.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author's Guidelines.
  • A thorough proofreading is conducted to check the standard of English and ensure the wording is clear and concise.
  • The manuscript has followed the template available in the Author Guidelines.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed journal section, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
  • A short cover letter regarding the submission is attached, with a suggestion for three (3) potential reviewers. This will be uploaded as a supplementary file.

 

AUTHOR GUIDELINES

Manuscripts submitted to The International Journal on e-Learning and Higher Education (IJELHE) must be original work that has yet to be published or is under consideration for publication elsewhere. The manuscript must be written in English. Manuscripts should be at most 15 pages long, including tables, figures and illustrations. A minimum of 20 references is required. All submissions will be peer-reviewed.

 

General:

Please use the International Journal on e-Learning and Higher Education (IJELHE) template provided. Kindly refer to Template Checklist for Guidance.

Each submission must include the following:

  • Manuscript in IJELHE Manuscript Template.
  • Title Page Template
  • Copyright Transfer Agreement (CTA) document as supplementary file.
  • The final submission for publication should follow the IJELHE Full Paper template.

Please refer to our Journal Policy to ensure your article will be accepted for publication. You can also refer to our guide on how to submit.

 

Format:

  • The paper must be prepared on A4 size (210 297 mm) with 1-inch margins left, right, top and bottom.
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word/Open Office document file format.
  • Prepare text in a single column and use Times New Roman font size 11 pt.
  • All text paragraphs should be single-spaced, with the first line indented by 10 mm.
  • No spaces should be placed between paragraphs.
  • Do not include page numbers and running heads.
  • All section titles must be First Letter Capitalised.
  • Manuscripts should consist of the following sections: 1. Introduction, 2. Methodology, 3. Results and Discussion, 4. Conclusion. Each section and sub-section should be numbered.
  • Each article should be accompanied by an abstract of not more than 200 words. The length of the manuscript should be between 10 to 15 pages (approximately 5000 words).
  • Please adhere to the IJLHE and Title Page Template provided.
  • The text MUST follow the latest APA conventions.

 

Plagiarism Check

Submission MUST include an Ouriginal (or any plagiarism checker) report with less than a 20% similarity index.

Your article will be screened for template usage, format compliance for research articles and plagiarism check.

 

Referees

We welcome suggestions for referees (3 names) from the author as each submission should be accompanied by an IJELHE copyright transfer agreement document, where naming three potential reviewers with their official organisation email is a must.

 

Copyrights

Copyright of articles belongs exclusively to International Journal on e-Learning and Higher Education (IJELHE). This copyright covers the rights to reproduce the article, including reprints, electronic reproductions or any other reproductions of similar nature.

 

Charge

In this publishing model, the author(s) do not need to pay any fee, and accepted articles will be published free of charge.
